Marble Estate

You can find us over at Plot No 10, right near Nagole X Road. It’s an open sort of place because you need a lot of room for all the marble slabs we keep here. Dealing with stone is a heavy, physical job. We spend a lot of our time outside or in the shed, moving things around with the crane. It gets quite dusty, especially when there’s a lot of wind blowing through. We’ve been at this location, Sy No 112, for a good number of years now. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for something specific for their floors or walls. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning and soft lights. We just have the stone out where you can see it for what it is. Sometimes a slab has a crack we didn't see at first, or the color isn't quite what someone wanted, and we have to move everything around again. It’s just the way the business goes. The guys here work hard, and we usually have a bit of a mess around the cutting area. Nagole is a busy spot, and there’s always traffic humming in the background while we work. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded up and sent out to the sites. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. It's just us and the stone every day.
