Manohar & Co.

We’ve been at this spot in Dilsukhnagar Colony for quite a while now. The address is 2-789-745/2, if you’re looking for the blue door. It isn’t a very big office, just a few rooms with desks piled with papers and some old wooden chairs that creak when you sit down. Manohar started this a long time ago, and mostly it is just us working through the daily pile of work that comes in. The street outside gets really busy around noon, so we usually hear the traffic and the street vendors yelling while we’re trying to get things done. It’s not fancy here at all. We have an old ceiling fan that makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. Most of the people who drop by are folks from around the neighborhood who have known us for years. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that, just the small nameplate by the entrance. Some days it is quiet, and other days we can barely find a place to put a cup of tea on the table because of all the files. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever needs doing that day. It’s a simple way to run things, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the colony over the years. My nephew helps out sometimes when he isn't at school. We just do the work and go home.
