Manasa Cargo Movers operates out of Plot No 87 89 in Apie, Balanagar. We are right opposite the Go Gas Company, which is a big landmark that helps people find our gates. The yard is usually full of trucks and different types of cargo being moved around. It is a loud place with engines running and people shouting directions to get the loading done. We spend most of our time outside or in the small office area near the front. There is always a lot of dust because of all the heavy vehicles coming in and out of the industrial estate. Balanagar is a central hub for this kind of work, so we are always in the middle of the action. We don't really do much in the way of fancy office furniture; everything here is built to be used and to last. Our days start very early, sometimes before the sun is even up, to get the first sets of trucks on the road. The paperwork for the cargo can be a bit of a headache, but we manage to keep track of it all. It’s a tough, physical environment, but that is just the nature of moving goods. We know the other businesses in Apie pretty well and we all just try to stay out of each other's way. It is a simple, hardworking life here at the plot. We deal with whatever comes through the gate daily.
