Our office for Manappuram Group Of Companies is way out in Bodayapalli village. It is part of the Tadpatri Mandal in the Anantapur district. If you have ever been to this part of Andhra Pradesh, you know it is mostly red earth and a lot of sun. We aren't in a big city center. We are right there in the village, which makes us a bit different from the other branches. The roads can be a bit bumpy getting out here, and it is a quiet place most of the time, except for the local farm sounds and the occasional truck passing through. It's a long way to the city but we like the quiet here. We handle the group's business for this specific rural area. It is a small operation, just a few of us in the office making sure the local accounts are handled properly. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy furniture, just the basics that we need to get through the day’s tasks. People from the village and the nearby mandal stop by often, and we usually know them by name. It is a very different vibe from a city office. Things move a bit slower, but the work is just as important. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized and helping the locals with whatever business they have with the company. It is a simple way to work.
