M.A Decorators is right here in the middle of Begum Bazaar, near the mosque in Afzal Gunj. It is a very crowded and busy part of Hyderabad, but we have been working from this spot for a long time now. People usually find us when they need some basic stuff set up for a small function at home or maybe something a bit bigger in a local hall. We just do the work. It is mostly about getting the curtains straight and making sure the seating is okay for the guests who show up. Sometimes the heavy traffic in Begum Bazaar makes it really hard to move our equipment around in the narrow lanes, but we manage somehow. My guys know these streets very well by now. We are not doing anything fancy with big websites or marketing, just working every day from this spot in Afzal Gunj. If you walk past the mosque, you can usually see us sorting out our fabrics or checking the metal poles. It gets dusty and loud out there on the street, but that is just how the bazaar is. We do not try to act like some big corporate firm. We are just local people who know how to decorate a space. Usually, we get very busy during the wedding season, so things can get a bit chaotic in the shop. We try to keep things organized, though it does not always look like it to an outsider. We have seen this whole area change over the years.
