We are based in Flat No. 102 of the Lotus Lake View Apartments in Samojiguda. It’s a residential-style setup for an office, which is common in this part of Hyderabad. We handle a lot of accounting and audit work, so there are always stacks of folders and papers on every flat surface in the rooms. Being part of the PwC network means we have a lot of work to stay on top of every day, but the vibe in the office is pretty down-to-earth. The windows look out toward the lake area, though we’re usually too busy with spreadsheets to look out much. The apartment building is a bit older, so the elevator can be slow during the lunch rush, but it’s a good spot for us. We drink a lot of coffee to get through the tax seasons and the audit deadlines. It’s not a big open-plan office with glass walls; it’s more like a home that turned into a workplace over the years. We know the security guards at the gate by name, and we usually order lunch from the small places nearby in Samojiguda. It gets a bit cramped when we have all our staff in at once, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent just looking at numbers and making sure the filings are done properly for our clients. It’s just the reality of professional services, working out of a quiet apartment block.
