Lic

We have been here in Saidabad Colony for a while now. People around here know where the Lic office is. It is just a plain office where we handle paperwork and talk to folks about their policies. Most days it is busy with people coming in to check their status or pay something. We are not a fancy setup at all. The chairs are a bit old and there is usually a stack of files on the desk. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out. It is just a few of us working here. We know the neighbors quite well. You see the same faces every month. We deal with death claims and maturity papers mostly. It takes time sometimes because there is a lot of writing to do by hand. We don't have a big sign outside, just the usual one everyone recognizes. If you walk down the main road, you will find us easily enough. We open around ten and stay till the work is finished. It is quiet in the mornings before the crowd starts. We use old computers that make a bit of noise. It is just how things are run here. Nothing special to look at but we get the jobs done. If you have questions about your plan, we just look it up in the register or the system. Most of the people living around here have been coming to us for years and they don't mind the wait.
