Ledil Oy, Finland

We are set up at Plot no 36 in the Electronic Complex Extension over in Kushaiguda. Even though the name Ledil Oy has a connection back to Finland, we are very much a local operation here on the ground. The complex is pretty big, so it took us a while to get settled into our specific spot. Most of our day is spent dealing with the optics and the technical side of the lighting business. It’s a clean space because we have to keep the dust off the lenses, but it still feels like a working warehouse. We have a small group of people who handle the inventory and the shipping. Kushaiguda is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it’s a good place for this kind of work because there’s room to move. We don't have a lot of corporate polish here. Our desks are practical and our focus is just on getting the orders right. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we have to keep the fans going full blast all day. We just come in, do the work, and make sure the parts are moving where they need to go. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend time on fancy brochures. We just rely on the work we do every day. It’s been an interesting journey being part of this local industrial community. Most of the time we are just busy with the next batch of packing lists.
