Our location is over in Adivarampeta, which is part of the Srikakulam district. We are set up at the place of Ch. Janrdhanarao's son. It is a more personal kind of arrangement than you might find in a big city. Being in this part of Andhra Pradesh means we are quite close to the coast, and the air always has a bit of salt and humidity in it. At Larsen&Toubro Ecc Division, we keep things very basic. The office is just a room where we can sit down and sort out the day's plans. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lights. Most of the people around here know us by name anyway. The pace of life in Srikakulam is a bit slower than the metros, but we still have plenty to do. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, so the office is a welcome relief when we need to finish up the paperwork. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it's answering the phone or moving some equipment. It’s an honest, hard-working atmosphere. We don't go in for anything polished or corporate. We just focus on the engineering tasks and make sure we are doing right by the local area. It’s a quiet life here in Adivarampeta, but it’s where we do our best work day in and day out without making much of a fuss.
