Our office is tucked away in Flat 101 at the Sri Sai Niketan Apartments. It’s right there in Bhagya Nagar Colony, across from the Sai Baba Temple in Kukatpally. Working out of an apartment is a bit different than a regular commercial building, but it’s quieter this way. We deal with chemical technology and stuff like that. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and phone calls to suppliers or clients. The living room area of the flat is where most of the desks are set up. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a few people visiting at once. You can hear the temple bells sometimes in the mornings and evenings, which is quite nice actually. We’ve been in this Kukatpally area for some time. Parking can be a bit of a headache for visitors because the lanes are narrow, but we manage. We aren’t a huge corporation with glass walls. We just have our computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of files stacked up on the shelves. It’s a local operation. Most of our staff takes the metro or rides their bikes to get here. We usually share lunch in the small kitchen area. It feels more like a small family than a big company. We just do our thing, handle the tech side of the chemicals, and try to keep everything moving along smoothly. It’s a regular routine for us and we like it.
