Lakshmi Ganapathi Flower Decoration

We are located in Himayat Nagar at Street No 7, specifically at H No 1-2-184. If you know the Minerva Coffee Shop, we are right opposite that. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Our shop is called Lakshmi Ganapathi Flower Decoration. Every morning, the fresh flowers arrive early, and the whole place smells like jasmine and marigolds for a few hours before the city heat kicks in. I spend a lot of time sitting on the floor with the guys, stringing garlands and sorting through different colors. It’s messy work, and there are always flower petals stuck to the floor, no matter how much we sweep. People come in for all sorts of things, maybe a small puja at home or a bigger function. We just handle the flowers and make sure they look okay. My hands are usually stained from the flower stems by the end of the day. Himayat Nagar is a good spot because everyone passes through here eventually. We don't do much advertising, mostly people just see the flowers hanging outside and stop their scooters. Sometimes we run out of specific roses because the market didn't have them, and we just have to make do with what is available. It is a simple life, mostly just dealing with the smells and the people of 500029. We keep our tools simple and our work honest.
