Brigade Visas

Brigade Visas is tucked away in Lakdi-Ka-Pool, right at 307. We are actually adjoining Lotus Hospital, which is a big landmark in the area. If you’ve been to P & T Officers Colony, you know it can be a bit of a challenge to find parking, but it’s a central spot. Our day-to-day involves a lot of paperwork related to travel and moving abroad. It’s mostly passports, application forms, and checking documents over and over again. People come in quite stressed sometimes because they are worried about their visas. We just sit with them and go through the steps. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of detail work and keeping up with the latest rules. The office is usually busy with people coming in for appointments. We have a small waiting area, but it fills up fast. Being near the hospital means there’s always an ambulance or some noise outside, but we’re used to it. We don't make any big promises, we just help people get their papers in order so they can go where they need to go. It’s a small team of us here. We’ve been in this building for a while now and know the local tea sellers and other shopkeepers pretty well. It’s just a regular office doing a specific kind of work for the community.
