Sri Sai Raghavendra Wood Industries

Sri Sai Raghavendra Wood Industries is located at 42006 in the Nagarjuna Nagar Colony area of Kushaiguda. It is basically a big workshop where we deal with all sorts of timber and wood pieces. There is always a lot of sawdust in the air and the smell of cut wood is everywhere. We spend our days cutting, sanding, and moving heavy planks around the floor. It is noisy because of the saws, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We are not a fancy furniture showroom, we are more about the raw work and getting the pieces ready. Some of the machines are old but they still do the job just fine. People from the colony come by to ask for specific sizes or just to see what kind of wood we have in the back. It is hard work on the hands and we go home covered in dust every evening. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it tough to move the bigger logs. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. Just the workshop and a small place to sit and do the billing. We’ve been in Kushaiguda for a good while and the locals know us. We just focus on getting the wood cut right and keeping the orders moving. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like the smell of pine.
