Victoria Industries

Our place is at Plot No. 5-535/91 in Prashanth Nagar. We are part of the I.D.A. Kukatpally area, which is full of different factories and industrial units. The Venkateswara Temple is nearby, and you can sometimes hear the bells or the prayers if the wind is right. The shop floor is quite large and we have various machines and tools spread out. It is a noisy place because of the metal work and the engines running. The floor is concrete and it usually has some oil spots or metal shavings on it. We wear our work clothes and spend the day handling the production side of things. It gets quite hot in the summer because the roof is made of metal sheets, but we have some big fans to move the air around. Prashanth Nagar is a busy spot for industries, so there are always trucks coming in and out with materials. We have a small office area blocked off with some glass panels where we keep the invoices and the phone. It is a tough kind of environment but that is just how industrial work is. We don't have a fancy entrance or any decorations. It is just a place for hard work. We start early in the morning and finish up when the day's quota is done. It is a straightforward operation in a very busy part of Kukatpally.
