Sri Lakshmi Press Articles is located in Prashanthinagar over in Kukatpally. The address is 5/5/33/24/D. It is a bit of a maze back here, but once you find us, it’s pretty simple. We do press work and manufacturing of various small articles. The machines make a rhythmic thumping sound that you start to miss when it's quiet. The shop floor is always busy. We have bins full of metal pieces and scraps. Kukatpally is a fast-growing area, so there is always construction and change happening around us. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a while now. The building is basic, just brick and corrugated metal. We have a small corner where we keep the records and handle the billing. It’s mostly just us working through the piles of orders that come in. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us by word of mouth or by just wandering into the industrial park. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for it to come back before we can finish a run. We use that time to clean up or have a snack. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We take pride in the stuff we make, even if it's just small parts that go into something else. It feels good to see a finished product at the end of the day. We just keep going.
