Sree Biotech

Our office is on the first floor at Plot No 34 in Prashanthinagar. It’s a bit different from the other shops around here because we have to keep things a lot cleaner for the work we do. At Sree Biotech, we spend most of our time looking at samples or filling out logs. The address 5/85/1/1 is easy to find if you know the landmark, but otherwise, it just looks like another building on the street. It stays fairly quiet up here on the first floor compared to the ground level. We have some equipment that hums all day, which becomes a sort of background noise that you stop noticing after twenty minutes. We don’t have a big team, just a few people who know their way around a lab bench. The desks are covered in notebooks and little glass bottles. Sometimes the air smells a bit like chemicals or sterilized equipment, but you get used to that pretty fast. We don't really do much in the way of entertaining visitors; we’re usually just heads-down on whatever task is in front of us. It is a lot of technical stuff that requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. When the sun goes down, we lock up and head out, usually feeling pretty tired from the focus it takes. It isn't a glamorous life, but the work is interesting enough to keep us coming back every morning to see what the next batch looks like in the lab.
