Sai Ram Raos Plastics

Our place, Sai Ram Raos Plastics, is on the first floor at 5/9/287/5 in Rajeev Gandhi Nagar. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which is a good workout if nothing else. The space is mostly taken up by inventory and a few workstations where we handle the smaller details of the business. It’s not a very big operation, just a few of us working together to keep the orders moving. The walls are mostly bare, and we have some old calendars hanging up to keep track of the weeks. We don’t have much in the way of fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done. Often, you’ll find us surrounded by different types of plastic products, trying to find enough space to walk through the aisles. The ventilation isn't the best, so it can get a bit stuffy when we are busy, but we’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that do their best. We know the other business owners in the building, and we usually chat for a minute or two in the hallway or by the entrance. It is a very normal, everyday kind of job. We don’t try to act like we are some huge corporation. We are just a local shop in a busy neighborhood, dealing with the daily grind and making sure our customers get what they asked for without any fuss. It’s a lot of work but it works.
