M K Enterprises is based over at Plot No 34 in Prasanthinagar, which is right in the middle of Kukatpally. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with all the traffic and people moving about. Our building is a simple structure that serves us well. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. Most days, you’ll find the front gate open and someone standing near the entrance checking in deliveries. We handle a lot of inventory, so the shelves are always full. It’s not the kind of place where everything is polished and shiny. We have scuff marks on the walls and the floor shows years of use from moving heavy boxes around. Our small office is tucked into the corner where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s often a bit messy with paperwork, but we know where everything is. We don't use much in the way of complicated systems; we just talk to each other to figure out what needs to be done next. Lunch breaks are usually taken together on the small bench outside if the weather is nice. We aren't trying to be anything big or fancy. We just come in, do what we need to do for the day, and make sure the place is locked up tight before the Kukatpally evening rush starts. We've got a leaky pipe in the corner that we keep meaning to fix.
