If you come down to Hydernagar in Kukatpally, you will find us over at Dr. Atmaramestate. It is a busy office where the phones are almost always ringing and there is a constant shuffle of papers. We deal with housing finance, which means we spend our days looking at maps, property documents, and bank statements. It is not the most exciting work to look at from the outside, but it keeps us very busy. The office is filled with filing cabinets that are bursting at the seams because everyone still likes to have things printed out. We sit at our desks under the humming lights and talk to people who are usually a bit stressed about their home plans. We try to explain things clearly, even when the rules are complicated. Sometimes people bring their kids along and they run around the lobby while we go over the numbers. We take our tea breaks together when we can, usually standing by the window looking out at the traffic in Kukatpally. It is a regular job with regular hours, and we have become a familiar part of this estate over the years. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local office where people can come in, sit down across from us, and figure out their paperwork without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by corporate talk.
