Astrica Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.

Astrica Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Flat No. 2 in the Sony Business Complex. We are located in Prasanthinagar, which is part of the Kukatpally area in Hyderabad. The complex is always full of people because there are so many different shops and offices sharing the space. Our lab is in a converted flat, so it has a bit of a strange layout, but we have managed to fit all our equipment in. It gets quite cramped when we have more than a few people working at once. The noise from the main road in Kukatpally filters in throughout the day, so it’s never truly quiet. We spend our hours testing various things and filling out reports on our computers. The lighting isn't great, but we have some strong lamps for the technical work. Most of us take the metro to get here since the parking in Prasanthinagar is almost impossible to find. We usually head down to the street level for lunch or to grab a coffee from one of the small stalls nearby. It’s not a high-end facility, but it’s where we do our work and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building. Sometimes the elevator stops working and we have to carry supplies up the stairs, which isn't fun. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place to spend the day.
