Advanced Machine Tool (a. M. T. India)

Our place, Advanced Machine Tool, is located at Plot No. 7 in Prashanth Nagar, Kukatpally. People around here usually call us A.M.T. India. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, dealing with all sorts of industrial tools. The workshop is quite large, which is necessary because some of the machines we handle are pretty big. It’s a very practical space with concrete floors and high shelves filled with parts and tools. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of our day is spent talking to customers about what specific tool they need or checking the condition of the stock. Hyderabad weather can be tough in this kind of building, so we have some big wall fans to keep the air moving. The traffic in Kukatpally is always a talking point among the staff when they arrive in the morning. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s not a high-tech office; it’s more about the tools and the people who use them. We see a lot of local contractors and factory owners coming through the doors. We don't use any fancy sales pitches. We just show them what we have on the shelves and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way to run a business in this part of the city.
