K.P.K. Granites

We have been here at Balamrai for quite a while now. The address is 153-B/2, right where the road gets a bit busy during the mornings. Most days start early for us because granite work isn't exactly quiet or clean. There is usually a lot of dust around the shop, but that is just how it goes when you deal with stone all day. People stop by looking for different slabs or asking about how much a piece will weigh. It is heavy work, honestly. My back feels it some days, but we have a good rhythm going here. The yard is usually full of different colors and patterns. We don't really do much fancy advertising because the neighborhood knows where we are. If you walk past 153-B/2, you will see the guys moving slabs or cutting something to size. It gets loud with the machines running. We try to keep things organized, though it is hard with so much inventory coming in and out. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the spot, but we manage. It’s a simple operation, really. Just us and the stone. We spend a lot of time talking to builders or just regular folks trying to fix up a kitchen. It isn't glamorous, but it is what we do. The Balamrai area has changed a bit over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We just keep showing up and doing the work.
