Koushik Advt. Media is run from a house in Bapu Nagar, Amberpet. The house number is a bit of a mouthful—H. No: 2-3-511/13/1—but once you find the right lane, it is easy enough to spot us. We are not in a big commercial park or a high-rise building. We actually like being in Amberpet because it feels like a real neighborhood. Our setup is pretty basic and functional. We have some computers, some old chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of tea. We handle advertising and media work, but we do not go around shouting about it. People usually find us because someone they know told them we do decent work. The neighborhood is always busy, and there is usually someone shouting or a motorbike passing by right outside the window. It is definitely not a quiet or polished corporate environment. We have wires running across the floor and piles of sketches on the desks. Sometimes we lose track of time when a big deadline is coming up. It is just us, working out of a residential area, trying to get things right for the folks who ask us for help. We do not have a fancy receptionist or a glass boardroom. If you come by to visit, you will probably just see us sitting around the main table working. It is an honest way to earn a living, and we are happy to be doing it here in Bapu Nagar.
