Konark Travels

You can find us in Dilsukhnagar, right above Anand Tiffins at Shop Number 9-143. If you've been to this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening on the street. Being above a tiffin center means we smell sambar and chutney all morning, which honestly isn't a bad way to start the day. Konark Travels has been operating out of this small shop for a while. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a few people come in at once, but we make it work. We have some chairs for people to sit while they wait to talk about their travel plans or bus tickets. The walls have a few old calendars and some posters. Dilsukhnagar is such a hub, so there are always people rushing past our door to get to the main road. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks. We aren't a big agency with uniforms or anything, just a few of us here trying to help people get where they need to go. If the shop is crowded, people sometimes wait out on the landing. It’s a simple setup. We deal with a lot of phone calls throughout the day and the internet sometimes acts up, but we get things done. It’s just how it is in this neighborhood and we are used to it.
