The Hyderabad Chapter of SIRC of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India sits over in Anand Nagar Colony, right in the Khairatabad area. It’s a pretty busy spot, especially if you’re trying to find a parking space nearby during the middle of the week. Our building at 6-3-609/5 isn’t hard to find once you get into the colony, but the traffic around here can be a bit of a headache. Inside, things are mostly about the paperwork and the students or members coming through to get their stuff sorted. It’s a typical office environment with desks, chairs, and stacks of files that seem to never get smaller. People are usually moving around, talking about the latest guidelines or just catching up on what needs to be filed next. The air conditioning sometimes struggles with the Hyderabad heat, so we all just deal with it. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the neighbors know us. There’s a tea stall nearby where some of the staff goes during the afternoon break to get away from the screens for a bit. It isn't a fancy place, just a functional one where the work of the chapter gets done day by day. You see a lot of people carrying heavy bags full of books or documents, rushing to meet some deadline or another. It’s just how things go here in this part of town. We keep things running, answer the phones when they ring, and try to keep the documents organized.
