Stone Heaven

Stone Heaven is up on the second floor of Plot No. 33, right on the 100 Feet Road in Kavuri Hills. Being in this part of Hyderabad means we see a lot of people passing by all the time. Our place is a bit different because we have heavy stone samples all over the floor and on the display racks. You have to be careful where you walk so you don't stub your toe on a piece of granite or marble. The dust is something we just live with, no matter how much we clean. It’s a practical space, not a fancy gallery. We have a small area with a table where we can sit down and look at the different types of stone with anyone who comes by. The phone rings quite a bit with people asking about prices or delivery times. Moving these heavy slabs is hard work, so the guys are always on the move. We don't have any scripted sales pitches here. We just show what we have and let the stone speak for itself. The office part is just a couple of desks in the corner where we handle the bills and the logistics. It gets pretty bright in here during the afternoon because of the large windows facing the road. We are just a local business trying to keep things simple and honest. Most of our day is spent checking the stock and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly for the site deliveries.
