M R Tin Industries is located at 112/A in the Ida part of Kattedan. Before you see the gate, you'll hear the sound of metal if you walk into our area. Honestly, it is a noisy place. Because we work with tin all day long, the floors stay covered in little scraps and shavings. Since it’s an industrial spot, don't expect anything polished or clean. Our machines are lined up and the guys stay busy moving sheets around or checking the presses. Kattedan is a tough area for work but it suits what we do perfectly. Rather than being a big corporation with a board of directors, we are just a group of people making things out of tin. When everyone is working at once, the high roof makes it quite loud. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. Some of the equipment has been with us since the start and it still runs fine if you know how to kick it. During breaks, we sit together and talk about the news or the weather. No doubt, it’s hard work. Your hands get dirty and your back gets sore by five o'clock. But there is a rhythm to it that we like. Making the products and sending them out is what we do. There’s no mystery to it. We just show up at 112/A and get the job done every single day. That is our life and we are okay with it.
