Sakhyata Social Enterprises

We are based at 1-1-30/60/5/A in Hanuman Nagar. It is on the second floor of a building right on Dammaiguda Road. You have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us. The area is quite busy, being near the ECIL post and Kapra. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood has grown a lot. Sakhyata Social Enterprises is just a small group of us. We have some basic furniture and a couple of fans that squeak when they turn. It’s not a place for showing off. We focus on social work and helping out around the community. Our days are filled with meetings and talking to the local people. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our furniture was bought second-hand. There is a lot of noise from the traffic on Dammaiguda Road, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be done next. We don’t have any fancy slogans. We just try to help where we can. The walls are a bit bare, and the floor could use a good scrub, but we are too busy to worry about that. We usually lock up around six and head home. It’s a regular job with regular people. If you’re in the area, you can just walk up and say hello to us anytime.
