Jugnu Stage Decoration

Our shop is tucked away on Niloufer Hospital Lane. It’s right beside the hospital in Bazarghat. If you've ever been to that part of Hyderabad, you know how busy those lanes can get. We are at Shop No 11-4-106/9. It’s a small place, mostly filled with stage props and rolls of fabric. We’ve been doing stage decorations for quite some time. Jugnu is the name on the board outside, though the paint is peeling a little bit now. We don't have a lot of space for customers to sit, just a couple of stools. Most people just stand by the counter and look at the photos we have pinned up of our previous work. The hospital nearby means there are always people walking past. It's a lively spot to be in. We work late into the night sometimes, especially when there's a big event the next day. The lights in the shop stay on and you can hear us hammering or cutting things. It’s just honest work. We don't use any fancy software for our designs. We usually just draw them out on paper first. It’s how we’ve always done it. If you need to find us, just look for the lane next to the hospital. Everyone around Bazarghat knows the way. We’re usually there from morning until late evening. It gets dusty with all the traffic, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We keep a box of nails handy.
