You can find Telangana Powertech at Plot No 28, covering survey numbers 285 to 288. We are based in Phase I of Jeedimetla. It’s quite a large plot compared to some of the others nearby. Being in Phase I means we are right in the heart of the older industrial section. The building is older too, but it does the job. We deal with power technology stuff, so there’s always some wiring or heavy components sitting around. The floors are concrete and usually have some grease marks here and there. It’s not a showroom; it’s a workshop. We arrive early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Jeedimetla can get very crowded during the rush hours, so getting here early helps. We don’t really bother with any fancy decorations or signs. The name is on the gate, and that’s enough for people to find us. Most of our day is spent looking at diagrams or checking the parts that come in. It’s quiet work mostly, except for when the heavy tools are running. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea. That’s usually where we talk about the news or the cricket scores. We’ve been at this for a long time and don’t see ourselves moving anywhere else. It’s just a steady place where we get our work done and then go home to our families.
