Sri Venkata Ramana Industries

Down here in Phase-Lli of the Ida, things move at their own pace. Sri Venkata Ramana Industries is located at 31/Part, which can be a little tricky to find if you aren't familiar with how this industrial estate is laid out. The roads are a bit rough, especially after the heavy rains we had last month, so most of us drive slowly around the potholes. Our unit is just a practical space where we focus on the daily tasks. There is no air conditioning in the main work area, just a few large fans that move the hot air around. We keep a small office in the corner where it’s a bit quieter. You can hear the hum of the nearby factories all day long, a constant background noise that you eventually stop noticing. The neighbors are mostly into manufacturing too, so there is always someone around if we need to borrow a tool or some extra hands for a heavy lift. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy furniture because the work itself is messy. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, but it serves its purpose. Most of the guys have been with us for years, so we just get on with it without needing much talk. It’s just a regular spot in a busy industrial zone. We usually wrap things up by six and head home to get away from the noise and the heat.
