Shree Jaya Laxmi Roto Prints

Our printing unit, Shree Jaya Laxmi Roto Prints, is located out on Plot No 627, which is part of Survey No 243. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but the space allows us to keep the big roto machines running without bothering too many people. We do a lot of bulk printing, mostly packaging and materials like that. The floor is usually covered in rolls of film or paper, depending on what the current job is. It smells like ink and machinery most days, which is just something you get used to after working here for a week. We have a small crew that looks after the machines, making sure the colors stay consistent and the rolls don't snag. It’s a lot of watching and adjusting. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; if you come to see us, you’ll probably have to walk past the machines to find someone in the back office. We handle various sizes of orders, though the big ones are what keep the lights on. The equipment is older but we keep it in good shape because it does exactly what we need it to do. Sometimes the schedule gets tight and we stay late to finish a run, but that’s the nature of printing work. We aren't interested in being a fancy agency. We just take the designs and get them onto the material as clearly as we can. It’s a simple process.
