We are based out of P-56/3 in Phase-1 of the IDA. S. S. R. K. Plastics Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us working in the industrial area. It’s a big place and can be confusing if you don’t know the phase numbers. Our unit is not the largest on the block, but we keep it running six days a week. There is always the smell of melting plastic in the air, which we have all gotten used to over the years. We started out small and stayed that way, focusing on just making what our customers ask for. The floors are concrete and there are stacks of crates everywhere you look. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a fancy lobby or carpets. We just have a small desk near the entrance for checking in deliveries. The machines are old but they still work fine for what we need. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the day is going to go before it even starts. We deal with a lot of scrap and raw materials coming in and out. It’s hard work, especially when it gets hot in the afternoons, but we just keep at it. We aren't trying to change the world, just making parts and keeping the business going in this part of the IDA. It is a noisy life but it is ours and we are comfortable here.
