R Chem

Our unit, R Chem, is located at 61/A in Phase 1 of Jeedimetla. It’s a well-known industrial area, so it’s easy for people to find us once they get into the right phase. The building is older, with high ceilings and big doors for loading. We deal with various chemical products, so there’s always a faint smell of the materials in the air. It’s something you get used to after a couple of days. We have a small laboratory area and then the main storage and processing space. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as handling chemicals can be messy work, but we keep it safe. Most of us have been working in this field for a long time. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of those corporate perks. There’s a small office space partitioned off where we keep the records. We use a lot of manual labor here, moving barrels and sacks. It’s physically demanding work. Jeedimetla is a good hub for us because of the transport links. We just focus on the batch orders we have for the week and try to get them finished on time. We don’t overthink things. It’s about the chemistry and making sure the products are handled properly. That’s what we do every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around here, so we have to go out and help them navigate. It’s all part of a day's work at R Chem.
