About Naga Sai Coach Builders – Engineering in Hyderabad
The workshop at P-23/C Part in Phase-III of the IDA is usually quite loud from the first thing in the morning. We have been here for a while now, focusing on the actual building part of buses and coaches. It is mostly a lot of metal sheets, welding torches, and the smell of fresh paint hanging in the air. People come by to see how the frames are looking. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that. You just walk past the main gate and you will find someone working on a chassis or fitting those heavy windows. The floor is often covered in metal scraps and tools that haven't been put back yet. It gets pretty hot under the shed during the summer months but the work has to keep moving regardless. We have a small team of guys who know how to handle the heavy stuff. Sometimes a job takes longer if the parts are slow to arrive or if the weather isn't helping with the drying. Most of the people around here know us just by the noise of the hammers hitting the steel. We don't spend any time on brochures or big signs. If you need a body built for a vehicle, you just come down to the IDA and look for our spot. It is a straightforward operation where things get done by hand mostly. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the paint to set properly and talk about the next job.
