Maruthi Industries

Maruthi Industries is located in Ramireddy Nagar, right beside the Nandhi Tuff Glass building. We are at Sy. No. 303 in the Jeedimetla area, specifically Sai Mithri Nagar. It’s a crowded spot with lots of small businesses packed together. You can hear the glass being moved next door all day long, a lot of clinking and shouting. Our place is full of raw materials and half-finished projects. We do a bit of everything here, whatever the local shops need us to make. The floor is concrete and always has a few oil spots. We have one big fan that we move around to keep the heat off whoever is working the hardest. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take the bus to get here. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are usually covered in some kind of dust by noon. We have been in this specific spot for a long time, so we know all the other shop owners on the street. We borrow sugar for tea and complain about the electricity bills together. It is a community of sorts. We just keep doing the work, day in and day out, making sure the orders are ready when the trucks come by. It is not always easy, but we have been here long enough to know the routine.
