About Handmade Baby Booties – Fashion & Trends in Hyderabad
We are based out in the Ida Jeedimetla Villages area. It’s a bit of a mix between a rural vibe and the industrial development of the Ida zone. Our work is all about making little booties for babies, which is a lot more delicate than the heavy industry you see around this part of town. Most of what we do is done by hand, sitting together and working through the yarn or fabric. It’s a small operation, and the atmosphere is quite quiet compared to the big factories nearby. We have a few rooms where we keep the supplies and the finished pairs. We don't have a big storefront or a corporate office. It’s mostly just us doing the sewing and knitting day in and day out. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, so we just move the chairs closer to the windows to use the natural light. We started this because we liked the work, and it has stayed that way. We aren't trying to be a giant company; we just want to keep making these little shoes for as long as we can. The neighbors often drop by to see what new colors we are using. It’s a slow and steady process, and we don’t rush things. Every pair is a bit different because they aren't made by a machine. It's just simple, honest handiwork from our small corner of Jeedimetla. We hope it stays like this.
