Our office for Global Enviro Consultants is right there in Subhash Nagar, Plot No 391/C. If you are looking for us, we are right beside the masjid, which makes it easy to find even when the Jeedimetla traffic is bad. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around all the time. Inside, it is mostly just us sitting at desks with a lot of paperwork and files. We deal with a lot of environmental stuff, so there are always maps and reports lying around. The fans are always humming to keep the heat away. It’s not a large place, but it works for what we do. Most of the people working here have been living in this part of the city for a long time. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby. Lunchtime is usually spent sharing food we brought from home. We don’t really do big presentations or have a fancy lobby. People just walk in, we talk about what needs to get done, and we get to it. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to hear the prayer calls from next door. It’s a very local way of working. We try to keep things straightforward without making life more complicated than it already is. Just a regular bunch of people doing their jobs in a busy part of town.
