Essar Tooling System is located in Phase-1 of the Ida. Our unit is D-40/2. It’s right in the middle of the industrial belt. We work with tools and precision parts. The air usually smells like metal and machine oil around here. It’s a hardworking environment. We have several machines running throughout the day to get the tooling right. It’s not quiet, but we don't mind the noise. We started small and have just kept at it over the years. We aren't interested in fancy marketing or big presentations. Most of our time is spent at the workbench or checking measurements. Precision is important, so we spend a lot of time double-checking things. The Ida can be a bit dusty, and the roads aren't always perfect, but it’s a good place for a shop like ours. We see other business owners from Phase-1 at lunch or at the local tea stall. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make tools that work for the people who buy them. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the night fixing it. That’s just part of owning a shop. We keep our tools organized and our workspace ready for the next job. It’s a practical way to live and work. We’ve been at D-40/2 for a long time. It’s what we do.
