Artemis Biotech

Our place, Artemis Biotech, is situated at Phase-1 in the IDA. We occupy a few units—1, 5, 14, and 15. It’s spread out a little bit because that’s just how the space was available when we needed to grow. Moving between the units keeps us on our feet all day long. The industrial area is usually dusty and full of the sounds of other businesses doing their thing. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of that. Most of our space is taken up by equipment and supplies. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we handle. The workers around here mostly know us as the folks who are always busy in the IDA. We don’t spend much on decorating or making things look pretty. As long as the lights work and the machines are running, we are happy. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, but we just deal with it and get back to work when it’s back on. It’s a gritty environment, not a clean office job. We wear our work clothes and don’t mind getting our hands dirty. We’ve been in this phase of the IDA for some time and have seen other businesses come and go over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks we have for the week. It’s a simple operation at its core, nothing more than that.
