Aparna Controls is based at D 98 in Phase I of the Ida in Jeedimetla. It’s a busy industrial area in Hyderabad. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The building is a standard industrial shed that we’ve modified over the years to fit our needs. Inside, it’s a mix of benches, wires, and testing equipment. We deal with control systems, which means there’s a lot of detailed work involved. It isn't as loud as a forge, but there’s always a hum of electronics and the occasional beep from a test machine. We don't have a glossy brochure or a polished sales pitch. We just show people what we’ve built and let that speak for itself. The staff here are mostly local technicians who’ve learned the trade on the job. We have a small area for tea and lunch in the back near the storage racks. Jeedimetla is a tough place to commute to sometimes because of the heavy traffic, but we are used to it. We keep a regular schedule, starting around nine and wrapping up by six, unless there’s a big project that needs finishing urgently. We don't spend much on decorating the place. The walls have some old calendars and charts pinned up. It’s a functional environment. We focus on the task at hand and making sure everything is wired correctly before it leaves the shop. It’s steady work and we like the community of businesses around us in the area.
