A. K. Enterprises is based out of D-41 and 42 in Phase-1 of the Ida. We’ve got two units right next to each other, which helps when we have a lot of stock coming in. It’s a bit of an older area compared to some of the new developments, but we like it here. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we all go during the afternoon break. We started this business a long time ago with just a few tables and some basic tools. Now, the space is pretty crowded with boxes and equipment. We do a bit of everything here, mostly whatever our regulars ask for. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It’s just me and a few workers who have been around since the beginning. We don’t have a website or a salesperson. Most of our work comes from people just stopping by the gate at D-41. Sometimes we have to scramble to finish an order on time, but we usually manage to get it done. The roof leaks a little when it pours, so we have to move the inventory around to keep it dry. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you’ve been in the same building for a decade. We don’t make any big promises, we just try to do a decent job for a fair price. It’s a simple life at the Ida, and we are happy to keep going as long as the orders come in.
