Our office is tucked away in the Ashoka Amber Residency, specifically in Flat No.203. It is right on Street Number 7 over in Vidya Nagar here in Hyderabad. Even though our name mentions Kano, Nigeria, this office is where we handle the local side of things for Jaykay Carpets. It is a relatively quiet spot in the 500044 area. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of the carpet business and checking on orders. Sometimes the phone lines can be a bit spotty, but we manage to get through it. Hyderabad is a good place for us to be based, with plenty of activity around Vidya Nagar to keep us on our toes. We do not have a massive showroom or anything like that; it is more of a practical place where we get the actual business done. Dealing with carpets involves a lot of checking on stock and talking to various suppliers. It is a bit of a niche trade, but we have been doing it for quite some time now. The flat is usually full of files and some samples scattered here and there. It is a small, simple setup. People come by when they have specific questions about the carpet trade or their orders. We are not big on marketing or fancy presentations. We just know our carpets and how to get them delivered properly. It is honest work and it keeps our small team very busy every day, managing everything from this residential building.
