You can find us in the old part of Hyderabad, specifically at 19-1-44/1 in Doodhbowli. We are tucked away in Jinna Uarayan Lane, which is right off Umda Bazar near Bahadurpura. It is a narrow street and can get very tight with all the shoppers and rickshaws passing through. Our shop is a busy little place filled with threads, needles, and fabric everywhere. We do embroidery work, so there is always someone hunched over a frame or a machine. It is detailed work that takes a lot of patience and good eyesight. The lighting in our lane isn't always the best, so we have plenty of lamps inside to see what we are doing. It is noisy because of the market outside, but inside we just focus on the patterns and the stitching. We get all sorts of work, from simple borders to more complex designs for local clothes. People bring their fabrics to us and we tell them honestly how long it will take and what we can do. We don't have a big showroom. It is just a workshop where the actual making happens. It has been a family-style operation for a long time. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers in the bazaar. It is a traditional way of working, and we are happy to stay right here in the heart of the old city.
