We are located over in Secunderabad, right in Defence Colony. Our office is actually Flat 101 on the second floor of the Vineyard Silvershade building. It’s a bit unusual because it’s a residential building, so it’s much quieter than a typical commercial block. We deal with bathroom fittings and plumbing supplies, mostly managing the orders that come in from this region. The flat is filled with catalogues and samples of taps and showers. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment of display items arrives. We don't have a big storefront where people walk in off the street. Mostly we are on our laptops or on the phone with dealers and plumbers. It’s a nice area with trees outside the window, which makes the workday a bit more pleasant. We have a small kitchen where we make our own coffee and lunch. It feels more like a home than an office most days. The security guard at the gate knows all of us by name. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure the deliveries are going to the right building sites around the city. It’s a low-key way to run things, but it works well for us. We just keep our heads down and make sure the customers get what they ordered without any fuss. The stairs can be a pain when we have heavy boxes, but we manage somehow by working together and taking our time.
