We are sitting here right at the Yousufguda crossroads. If you know this part of Hyderabad, you know how loud the traffic gets, especially with the metro line right there above us. Our office at 8-3-281 is a busy place most mornings. We usually start around ten, though some people trickle in a bit later depending on the buses. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone goes around eleven for a quick break. The desks are usually covered in files and site maps. It’s not the quietest spot, but it’s where we handle the construction work and housing stuff for the city. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on cement or steel deliveries. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The walls could use a new coat of paint, honestly. You can see the people waiting for the lights to change outside the window all day long. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the old fans are always running at full speed. It is just a regular office where we do our daily jobs. We don't have fancy carpets or anything like that. Just a bunch of desks, some computers that are a few years old, and a lot of paper that needs filing every single week. It’s just us here working.
