Jai Mahavir Photo Imaging

We are right across from Chandana Bros in Chikkadpally. The address is 1-8-522/27/7. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always noise and people rushing by outside the door. We do a lot of photo work, printing, and imaging things for the locals. The shop is full of old frames and sample prints on the walls from years ago. It has got that specific smell of photo chemicals and paper that is hard to describe but you know it when you walk in. We spend a lot of time behind the counter or working on the computers to get the colors just right for the customers. It is not a huge place, so when we have more than three people inside, it feels quite full. Chikkadpally is great because you get all kinds of people coming in, from families getting portraits to students needing quick prints for their forms. We have been here long enough that most of the other shopkeepers around here know us by name. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working here. We do not have a fancy logo or a big marketing plan. We just do the work as it comes in and try to make sure people are happy with their pictures. It is a lot of manual work, even with the digital machines we use now.
