J K Rickshaws

Our shop, J K Rickshaws, is over at 15-2 Venkatrao Pet in the Louthukunta area. It is a busy little spot where there is always the sound of hammers or the smell of grease in the air. We deal with the three-wheelers that the local drivers use to make a living. Most of the time, the floor is covered in parts and oily rags because someone’s engine decided to quit in the middle of a shift. We have been in Louthukunta for a good bit now and the drivers know they can just roll their rickshaws in when something feels wrong with the steering or the brakes. It gets quite hot in the afternoon under the tin roof, so we usually take a short break for tea then. We are not a big factory, just a local place where we fix things and maybe sell a few parts when people need them. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into Venkatrao Pet. We see a lot of the same faces every week because these vehicles take a lot of beating on the roads around here. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever is in front of us. It is not glamorous work, but it is necessary for the guys who drive all day. We try to keep things organized but with all the scrap metal, it is a bit of a struggle most days.
