You can find us over at Plot 65 in Gateway colony, which is part of Vanasthalipuram. It’s a residential kind of area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main highway. The clinic is basically just a few rooms where different doctors come in at different times. We have a small lobby where people wait for their turn. The chairs are just plastic ones, nothing fancy, but they do the job. We see a lot of kids and elderly people from the houses nearby. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have a backup to keep the lights on so we can finish seeing whoever is in the room. We don't have a big sign, just a simple one so people know it’s the right house. It feels more like a community spot than a cold office. We keep a logbook for the appointments, but if someone just walks in with a problem, we usually find a way to fit them in between the others. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it mopped, especially during the rainy season when everyone brings in mud. It’s just a straightforward place where we do our daily tasks. We know most of the people who live on this street by name now and it’s a good feeling. People just walk over from their homes and wait for a bit.
