Intex Engg. Works

Our shop is located at H No. 7-5-20 in Gowtham Nagar, which is in the Ferozguda area of Balanagar. It’s a very industrial part of Secunderabad, so there are plenty of other workshops around us. We do general engineering work here. Most of our day is spent at the machines or at the benches fixing various parts. The floor is old concrete and it’s covered in oil stains and metal shavings that we sweep up every evening. We don't have a big office or any fancy decorations. It’s just a place for work. We have some old lathes and drills that have seen a lot of use over the years. They aren't the newest models, but they work perfectly for the kind of jobs we handle. The air in the shop is always a bit heavy with the scent of machine oil. We usually get to work early before the traffic on the main road gets too bad. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, but you have to keep your eyes on what you’re doing so you don't make a mistake. We don't use any marketing speak or have a polished image. We’re just regular people doing technical work with our hands. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait, but usually, we’re busy from morning until night. It’s a solid, practical business in a busy neighborhood.
